Ana Brandt International Certification Program - Torri Howard

A love for photography that developed at a very young age, Torri began her journey by capturing memories of family and friends for many years. As her own family grew when she became a wife and a mother to three daughters and a Nana to two granddaughters, her love of photography grew into a passion.  

Growing up, Torri always had a creative side and photography provided her the perfect outlet to explore her creativity and capture those memories and once in a lifetime moments for those around her.  Torri set out to learn all she could about photography including taking classes at a local community college to learn how to use her camera properly.  She begin to offer photography sessions to family and friends.  As her talents grew, her business Images by Torri Howard was born in 2011. 

A Commercial Insurance broker by profession, photography provided an outlet for Torri to explore and grow her creative side while providing amazing portraiture for many families every year.

Torri specializes in newborn, maternity and first year photography and provides family photography opportunities several times throughout the year. She has many long time clients that come back time after time as their families grow.

Providing a world class portraiture experience for her clients is why Torri continues to invest in herself and her business. She has taken many workshops over the years and is professionally trained and certified by Ana Brandt, a world renowned photographer. She has participated in the Ana Brandt Baby Academy, completed the Certified Photographers Program, will be attending the Belly Baby Summit 2023 in NYC and is participating in the Certified Trainer Program with Ana Brandt, as she works toward achieving her vision of sharing her skills with others by teaching and training the next generation of newborn photographers.

Torri has been recognized every year since 2017 as an top newborn photographer in Seattle by Expertise.  Her work has been published in Lensational Magazine and also in Belly Baby Magazine.  Several of her images are prominently displayed in a local ultrasound studio where she is the recommended photographer for expectant parents once their baby is born.  

Torri feels fortunate to have crossed paths with so many individuals over the years that have encouraged and influenced her as she continues to follow her passion of photography and also for all the families that have trusted her to capture those once in a lifetime moments that will be family memories for generations to come.
